New Year, New Job In Care?
Every New Year brings a fresh sense of optimism – it means a fresh start with new goals to achieve. If a new job in social or personal care is one of your New Year’s resolutions, what better way to start the year than with a new and exciting position at Hands On Care?
About Hands On Care
Founded in 2011, Hands on Care is a family–run business with a dedicated team of carers that specialises in social and personal care. We work closely with our residents and their families to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of personalised care from our dedicated team. The majority of our patients are adults aged over 18 who are dealing with sensory loss, learning difficulties and dementia, as well as those recovering from serious illness and those who are terminally ill.
Our Duties in Care
Working in care assures that no two days are the same – there are so many different duties a carer undertakes to ensure that all of their residents’ needs are met and that they feel comfortable and safe in their homes as well as when they’re out and about. These may include the following:
Social Care
Our committed team of social carers are always on hand to help our residents while also ensuring they keep as much of their independence as possible. Our social carers can support a range of needs, from taking patients to the shops to getting patients out to their local day centres. Our top priority is providing our residents with a good quality of life and helping them to socialise
Personal Care
Personal care ensures the dignity of the individual. We can guarantee that each and every one of our carers will help to uphold this. Personal care helps patients in their own homes with their day-to-day activities, from getting out of bed and getting dressed, to cooking and cleaning.
Cleaning Services
Speaking of cleaning, our dedicated cleaning team can step in and give a helping hand with keeping on top of housekeeping for individuals. With everything from cleaning windows and vacuuming to laundry and ironing. This gives residents and their families time for themselves to sit back and relax while knowing that their house is in safe and trustworthy hands! Our team is flexible and works with residents and their families without getting in the way or stepping on their toes if they still wish to do some housework themselves.
